Bio

Tom brings 25 years of experience in direct sales and marketing to Family Heritage. Tom developed his leadership and team building skills with Capitol American Health Insurance, one of the nation’s leading providers of supplemental health care and has generated a large client base throughout the Midwest with a high level of customer satisfaction. He was consistently recognized by the Presidents Council for his outstanding sales achievements.

Tom was named “Area Manager of the Year” at age 29, and was appointed to State Manager – one of the top three positions in the company. He possesses a “lead by example” work ethic, which resulted in numerous promotions leading up to his appointment as State Manager. He is equally comfortable doing business in the board room or at the kitchen table. He has supervised and coached the improvement of managerial skills, and the retention of new agents. Tom was directly involved in multilateral team achievement of work objectives / goals and was responsible for a seven state area that generated over $17,000,000 in new sales.

His sincerity to help others coupled with his development skills is unsurpassed. He has brought out the best in literally hundreds of men and women over the years, and believes the difference between ordinary people and extraordinary people is just that little “extra”.

Throughout his career he has practiced and shared many of the fundamental principles developed at Family Heritage and believes his secret to success is due to the empowerment of others to achieve their true potential and realize their dreams.
